Christa Helbling
Christa has been in the healthcare field over the past 40 years. Her career began as a nurse midwife in Switzerland. Intensive studies in Shiatsu, Feldenkrais based Bodywork ( Life Impression Bodywork), Iyengar Yoga and expressive arts led her to the National Certification for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in 2000.
As a practitioner, her objective is to create a safe, informative environment which supports clients on their healing journey. She believes in “Healing comes from within”.
Her training includes: Swedish massage, Therapeutic massage, LaStone Therapy, Thai and Biodynamic CranioSacral Therapy ( BCST with Scott Zamurut in SF). Since 2000 she has worked in private practice as well as healthcare facilities, hospice and palliative care.
Christa blends the above modalities to ease and relax the client. Every treatment is unique depending on the client’s needs.
Her passion is BCST. Christa believes the Breath of Life (BOL) goes beyond personality. Tuning into the BOL in its various expressions, observing changes in the body and using gentle physical contact. Christa loves being present and grateful. Sometimes less is more!
