Adam Broder

Adam Broder, Doctor of Oriental Medicine, has been practicing acupuncture since 2018 after receiving a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe. He has received training in Shiatsu and Sports Medicine Acupuncture, and has traveled to Nicaragua to work alongside indigenous healers and clinical herbalists. His treatments often make use of the Sa’am system, a form of acupuncture from Korea that is effective while using minimal amounts of needles. In addition he is currently a student in the White Pine Institute Graduate Mentorship Program, learning classical methods of herbal prescribing from the renowned Sharon Weizenbaum. Adam sees Chinese Medicine as a modality rooted in the changes and cycles of nature. Illness and pain occur when an individual has lost an aspect of their relationship to the natural order. Herbal formulas, acupuncture and other modalities can help to restore this relationship to bring about true holistic healing.
